El Corte Inglés is the biggest department store group in Europe (ranks fourth worldwide) and Spain's only remaining department store chain. It is compared with Harrods, Galeries Lafayette or Macy `s.

An El Corte Inglés complex normally encompasses several buildings,  is situated in every Spanish city centers and carries the most comprehensive collection of designers of any large store in Spain.

Designer boutiques in a regular El Corte Inglés department store include: Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Armani, Gucci, Loewe, Bulgari, Dior, Dior Homme, Georges Rech, Hugo Boss, Boss Woman, Ermenegildo Zegna, Burberry (men/women), Façonnable, Pal Zileri, Paul & Shark, Lacoste, Pavillon Christofle, CH by Carolina Herrera, Escada Sport, James Purdey and Sons, Lloyd's, Purificación Garcia, Caroll Paris, Amitie, Episode, store brands (Emidio Tucci, Dustin) and many others. Also included is a branch of the Madrid based Aldeo jewelers, carrying such jewellery designers as Boucheron, Blancpain, and Hamilton.

When registering at the department stores Customer Service Departments (SAC) using a valid passport or photo ID proof of foreign residence, you will receive a 10% discount card applicable in the following departments: Fashion, Fashion Accesories, Sports, Perfume & Cosmetics, Home Textiles, Furs, Special Sizes, Shoes, From Spain and Souvenirs Departments.

- Shopping Card

Shop without carrying your merchandise. With the shopping card you can pick up and pay for all your purchases at our Customer in one transaction.

- V.A.T. Refund

If you reside in a non European Union (EU) country, Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla, you can request the Value Added Tax refund on goods purchased in the department stores for purchases over 90,15 Euros.

- City Maps

Available and free of charge at any of our department stores. Find your way around the city and find useful information about museums and sightseeing. Request your map at Tourist Information Center or Information Desk.
