Madrid is a city of everything for everybody. Believe or not, in Madrid it is possible to ski and snowboard during all seasons, even summer, and 365 days a year. Obviously Madrid ski offer is reduced and far from the ski offer of others capital cities of Europe.

Madrid Snow Zone is the only indoor ski resort of Spain and it´s placed in the Shopping Center Madrid Xanadú. With 18.000 m2dedicated exclusively to the world of snow gives you the opportunity to practice ski and snowboard 365 days a year.

Situation: Shopping Center Xanadú situated in Arroyomolinos, 23 km far away from Madrid.

By bus: From Principe Pío Station, bus number 528 – 534 – 539.

Valdesqui is a small ski resort but the bigger one in Madrid. It´s easy and fast to get there and the 27 short pistes are funny and some of them really technical. Monday to Friday the pistes are almost empty and you can enjoy a really nice day of skiing or snow board 1 hour far away from Madrid.

Situation: Situated in Rascafría, in the Guadarrama mountain range, 72 km  from Madrid city center.

Services: Limited to two in piste restaurants. There is neither hotels nor bars near the pistes.
Opening times: December – April (depends on snow availability), Monday to Sunday. 9:00 to 16:15.

How to get there:
By bus: Direct bus service from Moncloa Bus Station.
By train: Line C-8b to Cercedilla station, Line C-9 to Cotos Station. There is a free bus service from Cotos train station to Valdesquí ski resort.
By car: Highway A-6 exit 39, take M-601 until Puerto de Navacerrada, there take M-604.         



Situated 10 km from Valdesqui ski resort, both share the same mountain using a different valley. Puerto de Navacerrada have two not connected ski areas, one for beginners and another one for veterans. The ski resort is under a remodeling project to improve and increase ski pistes and services but today Valdesqui snow quality is better and pistes longer. However Puerto de Navacerrada offer of services such as restaurants and hotels is bwider.

By bus: Route 691 from Moncloa Bus Station.

By train: Line C-8b to Cercedilla station, Line C-9 to Puerto de Navacerrada station.
