Where to go shopping in Madrid? - Lefties, the unknown Zara Outlet

Lefties is the cheapest and unknown brand of the Inditex group (the Zara distribution group).

Created in 2008 as a Zara outlet store, today Lefties also develops his own fashion collection with his own personality and always at low prices. Inditex tries to hide this brand of the international scene (the Inditex web page does not include any reference about the Lefties existence) because is really worried about the negative impact of a Zara outlet in terms of revenues and brand image. As a matter of fact, there are not Lefties stores out of the spanish market, where it competes with Primark and the outlet business model is really successfull.

At Lefties it is possible to find really good bargains from past season Zara collections as well as other Inditex group brands. Like any other outlet, is not easy to find the same garment you saw at a Zara store a couple of months ago and even more difficult is to find the right size or colour, but still it is really worth it pay a visit during your stay in Madrid. Even more when considering that Lefties has his own collection with designs that are as appealing and fashionable as the ones of  Zara collections but less complex, more simples and at a really lowly prices. It is true that the quality of the Lefties collections is lower than Zara collections, but still they are on the textile market average or even above in comparison with the quality shown by other more expensive brands.
